Euthanasia... a staffy recognized

For eight years, the couple adopted Lena *, a staffordshire dog of category 2. A category which inevitably brings with it obligations: holding a license canine, behavioral assessment annual, statement at the town hall, wear of a muzzle for the walks ... But for years, the dog has never been into rules. If it had been vaccinated or tattooed, it has not been declared at the town hall. And the owners do not have a license!

One day, for the first time in eight years, the couple's son forgot to close the door, releasing the staffy of the house. Alone, without a muzzle, the dog wandered the streets until the pound intervene. As required by law for that matter. Upon his return home, the couple discovers the mistake and calls the pound directly. "Over there, they were told that there was a dog that answered the description but nothing more, this is what it has been told to  the legal department of the association Brigitte Bardot in Paris. Then the family went to visite the site and recognized the dog, which was also at the party. "

The family shows pictures of children with Len.

But the pound has never wanted to give the dog back to the family. Why? Because the tattoo of the staffy is unreadable.

Therefore impossible to confirm its identity and its belonging to this family. "Yes, except that we brought back pictures of the family where children play with the dog. This is an animal that is easily identifiable with the stains and a  growth of flesh ... " Except that here too, the refuge refuses to release the dog. There is even a  talk to euthanize the dog. After some research, the association of Brigitte Bardot realized that is a dog luffed. Even better, they found  the veterinarian who had tattooed the dog eight years ago for a verification. But again, the association and family come face to the silence of the shelter. "They tell us that it is the law and I agree, but it takes a bit of flexibility for these animals and families. Finally, we were unable to do anything. The dog was euthanized. "
